Terry L Wood

Biography

Mr. Wood is a life long resident of McNairy County, Tennessee residing in Adamsville, Tennessee.  He received his bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee in 1985.  In 1989 he completed his law degree at the University of Memphis and became licensed to practice law in Tennessee.  In 1990 he received his law license as well in Mississippi and routinely tries cases in both states.

Much of his trial work involves either wrongful death or serious personal injury to his clients.   He also is frequently involved in a variety of other courtroom work including divorce, custody, employment and contract disputes.

Within the last three years he has declined nominal settlement offers and has taken serious injury and wrongful death cases heavily defended by insurance company lawyers to TRIAL in both McNairy and Hardin County, Tennessee receiving the maximum award legally possible in each case.  The reputation, experience and proven history of being able to successfully go to trial against the big insurance companies and their best attorneys naturally improves the chances of fair settlements for all of his clients.

Mr. Wood has demonstrated a versatile ability to handle complicated cases in the courtroom whether they involve gas explosions, traffic intersection design or log truck accidents.  If you are thinking of hiring that tv or billboard lawyer, think again and ask yourself, will the tv lawyer be ready if my case has to be tried or will he tell me to take a low settlement offer and move on to the next case.  You will not be disappointed by turning your case over to Mr. Wood.

Excellent results are not an accident but rather the product of old fashioned hard work and experience.
